A quick update!

A quick update! 5 more done last night! 25 to go...

I haven't painted the clan emblem on the shields as that's a lot of fiddly work but may go back to that in the final stages of the project if I have time.

So it's begun...

Well, it's started! 35 Clanrats built, 10 undercoated (there would have been more but the wind was causing issues), and 5 painted. May not be much but for me, that's quite an achievement!

Also here is a work in progress banner showing Clan Ferrik's emblem.

The 35 were done yesterday, now to try and get another 5 done today!

New start!

Hi,
I had almost forgotten about this blog, set up long ago to show my hobby progress. Much like my ability to maintain a diary, it was forgotten about after a short while. So, new blog title, new start! Now I don't know if I really am the only wargamer in the village of Snodland where I live, but it feels like it!
So what's the plan now? This year I'm planning on doing a Skaven army for Armies on Parade and would like to use this blog to chart my progress as well as a motivational tool to get this project done.  For those who don't know what Armies on Parade is, it's a competition to build and paint an army and display it on a 2'x2' display board and it ends sometime in September.
My take on this will be a Skaven army displayed within the halls of a Captured Dwarven mine. At least, that's the plan...

Here are a few pics just to show the colour scheme. Next week I should have a plan put together on what the display might look like. I had best crack on building skaven...

A slight deviation...

I've been quite busy recently but have managed to get some Thunderbolts done for my Aeronautica squadron, so now up to 7 painted fighters!

Now to get all the bombers painted...

Well Folks here is the first 5 chaos warriors I'm working on, so far so good! though I'm still not sure about the fur trim, grey is better than brown as that clashes with the orange but still not sure. What do you think?

Hello there folks!

For those that wanna see, here is a blog to show off the various Hobby Projects I'm currently working on covering everything from Space Marines to Chaos Warriors.
